Well, Cathy did not make it to 40 weeks. On Wednesday morning, she suggested I put our bags in the car...hmm. Later that day at 4pm, she called me at work and said her water had broken. She had been feeling some nausea on Tuesday and Wednesday but had thought it was the flu. Well, suddenly she was having major contractions 4-5 mintues apart. And she thinks she's a whimp. I rushed home from work, we rushed to the hospital, an ultrasound showed that the boy was breech (much to our surprise), and an exam showed that Cathy had dilated to 5 cm. A C-section was scheduled (hospital policy for any breech baby) and by 6:34pm little AC was born.

Uncle Chris came to visit and brought a teddy bear which can be seen in the last photo which proves that I was there too.

There's a couple of beautiful human beings. And the video is a great, cutting-edge touch; it's nice to feel a bit connected to Michigan despite the distance. All that gurgling is definitely a trait from Todd's side of the family, but I'm not naming any names. Best wishes and lots of love from the not-quite-so-frigid East Coast.
Congratulations! You two do great work. Everyone looks so good in the pics. Really looking forward to seing all three of you, hopefully in a few weeks for Mom's b'day. We will make a house call if you are not up to traveling yet. Congrats again! Jeff & Bev
