We have recently returned from our summer vacation spent in the Sleeping Bear Dunes area of northwestern Michigan. We are fortunate enough to have good friends that own a great cabin just outside of Glen Arbor and they actually let us stay there. In addition, they allowed nearly the whole Sherwood clan to join us for the weekend during which we celebrated Father's Day - happy Father's Day again Dad. You won't find any new vids (yet again) - sorry guys. But, you will find lots of new photos if you follow the "June2010vacay" link in the upper right of our page. AC's dad has a new camera lens (courtesy of Cathy - thanks again Sweetie) and he's been having fun trying it out.
You will see some pics of AC's first visit to a beach (at Sutton's Bay). He didn't seem to like walking in the sand barefoot (maybe it feels funny on his bare feet) and he was a little afraid of the water's edge, but he had fun. While in the Glen Arbor area, we also visited some wineries, we wandered Fishtown in Leland, we ate too much every day, and we even had some minor sickness which caused us to return home a day early. But hey, it's easy to find things to do back here in AA while in "staycation" mode so it's been a great week. Until next time...
