Well, we have recently returned from a great week spent with Bonnie & John in Port Charlotte. AC had a great time. He visited two beaches - Siesta Key in Sarasota on the Gulf and Vero Beach on the Atlantic. At Siesta Beach, he went into the water up to his waist and had a great time demolishing the sand castles that his mom and dad made. He also went swimming three times and visited two different swimming pools and even jumped into his dad's and grandpa's arms...over and over and over. One time he even jumped into the pool when his dad wasn't able to catch him (which he did intentionally by the way). He found this to be a little scary but it didn't make him want to leave the pool. Here's a video of one of our pool visits. I'll warn you, I haven't edited it in any way so it's long and nothing much happens and the sound is bad in parts (the camera operator didn't realize that the microphone was under the area where she wanted to place her thumb) so....well....you've been warned.
While in Florida, we were able to get several four generation photos of two sets of four generations. One set includes Gram Bette, Bonnie, Cathy and Arthur. The other includes Henry, John, Cathy and Arthur. While none of the photos are great (consider the photographer), it's really cool to have these and I'm sure Arthur will appreciate them down the road. We also saw Cathy's brother Chris who refused to be photographed but he did give AC a cool new toy tractor that's been quite a hit.
